About the Retreat
The place where we will stay is located in “La Mure d’Isère”. Two big houses close by 30m. Lot’s of space inside and outside. Wonderful view. Two bathrooms in each house, full kitchens, sofa…
The weather is pretty good at this time of the year; not too warm and fresh enough to sleep well at night.
Yoga will be for everyone. You can do all the practices or select the one you prefer.
Walk & Hike will be adapted and around the area.
To come to the place you have to make it until Grenoble train station and then I will pick you up (45min driving)
You can fly to Lyon or Grenoble airport and take a shuttle (bus or train 15€) to Grenoble station.
“ I joined Jerome’s retreat because I loved the way he teaches yoga...I was in for a REAL treat: with a combination of different styles throughout the many sessions he lead us through during the retreat, he always managed to gauge whether we needed to energise, relax, have some fun, release or be guided and I came away with an ever better impression of his teaching then I had when I got there.
Then there were the hikes: a little more challenging than expected (I should have understood that is was the Alps we were going to be hiking in, not just some rolling countryside), but oh so beautiful and rewarding! Jerome is passionate about his origins and the mountains and this was obvious during the walks and the picture perfect stops he showed us and the many little surprises in store.
The accommodation was very adequate, calm and above all boasted some splendid zen- inducing views. The homemade vegetarian food was plentiful and tasty, what I enjoyed the most were the amazing salads, local cheese and Jerome’s parents sweet, tender “gouters”.
Would I go back? For sure! “

The place
What a lovely week we had!!! Jerome is an exceptional yoga teacher, able to mix different styles depending on everyone’s abilities and needs. What I was not expecting was that he’s also a great hiker, and that the hikes would be so stunning . I’m an alpine hiker, but usually retreats offer a milder, washed-down version: but Jerome treated us to real challenges and we were rewarded with stunning views. The place was welcoming and friendly; a down-to-earth atmosphere filled with laughter. Reading books in the comfortable garden, a stroll to La Mure for a drink, a sauna: all contributed to a relaxing yet active week. Will be back!

This was my first yoga and hiking retreat and I am totally hooked! Jerome planned it so carefully, wanting to show us the beautiful mountains and villages he calls home. The hikes were hard ( perhaps I was a little under prepared for those) but the views worth the effort. The days always started or ended with yoga - Jerome is a great teacher who cares deeply about his classes and adapting them for his students. We stayed in two lovely houses with gorgeous views, of course. The food was delicious and more than adequate to sustain us through our daily activities. The highlight was the special treats his parents delivered daily for our gouter! Overall an amazing experience and I am definitely booking the next one! Thank you Jerome. We all loved it!

Flexitarian Food
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the retreat, and cannot wait to do it again! The idea of a yoga retreat in the Alps sounded great, so I jumped at the chance to spend more time in this part of the world. I didn’t really know what to expect as I had never taken any of Jerome’s classes. The entire trip exceeded my expectations! From the setting, to the food, yoga classes, and the amazing (and difficult) hikes, every day brought something different and wonderful to my experience. Jerome was super attentive to everyone’s needs, and did everything possible to ensure we were all happy and satisfied. The retreat was intimate, with a lovely group of people from different cultural backgrounds, which made the experience all the more enjoyable! I highly recommend this retreat, and am looking forward to next year’s!

I had not done this type of retreat before and couldn’t have imagined what a wonderful experience it would be. From the moment we arrived, Jerome was clear that this was our time and would do his best to accommodate our levels, interests, and expectations to the best of his ability. Boy, did he ever! Our schedule was full but not packed and included the right amount of yoga and hiking, time to explore the quant town, and eat the delicious homemade food prepared fresh daily. With each passing day, I couldn’t help but feel more gratitude and anticipation for the new experiences we were going to encounter. It was just what I needed to decompress I am very much looking forward to next year!
